GENERAL MANAGER

Responsibilities
1 )  
Oversee full spectrum of Human Resource functions which include manpower sourcing & placement initiatives, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, succession planning, retention and other HR related support services.
2 )  
Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction, establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
3 )  
Develop human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
4 )  
Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
5 )  
Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
6 )  
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by study existing and new legislation; anticipate legislation; enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on needed actions.
7 )  
Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
8 )  
Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
9 )  
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
 
Requirements
1 )  
Candidate must possess at least Degree or Master in Human Resource Management/Development, Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent from reputable universities.
2 )  
Minimum 10 years demonstrated working experience in Human Resources Management particularly in manufacturing sector and is currently holding a Senior Managerial position.
3 )  
Has exposure in handling foreign worker matters.
4 )  
Good knowledge on HR practices and strategies.
5 )  
Able to understand, organize and connect ideas, interdependencies and cause & effect relationships.
6 )  
Able to recognize the value and responsibility of working in a team, actively supports and develops team members, quick to identify and problem solve any issues.
7 )  
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
